Professional Code of Ethics
Culminis aspires to establish and maintain public confidence in the professionalism, honesty, ability and integrity of those who participate and
volunteer in our programs. This is fundamental to the future success of the
programs and volunteer opportunities offered by Culminis. To this end,
participants and volunteers must agree to and, as a condition of acceptance,
subscribe to this Professional Code of Ethics.
Violations of the provisions of this Code shall be managed in accordance with
the policies and procedures of all volunteer programs. Disciplinary actions
shall be instituted by the leadership of each program in accordance with
policies established by Culminis. Any such disciplinary action shall be final
and binding upon the participant and/or volunteer without recourse to Culminis,
its partners, its officers, directors, members or staff.
- The participant or volunteer shall accurately represent qualifications and
experience in both oral and written communications.
- The participant or volunteer shall act, operate his/her business, and speak on a
professional level so as to neither offend nor bring discredit to the program
they are representing.
- The participant or volunteer shall exert diligence to understand the programs,
approaches and goals of Culminis in advance of the process being performed.
- The participant or volunteer shall avoid using materials, titles and thematic
creations originated by others, either orally or in writing, unless approved by
the originator.
- The participant or volunteer will provide all presentation materials in the
timeframe required by the programs, and/or Culminis, in order to provide
sufficient time to review the materials to insure suitability for their
members.
- The participant or volunteer shall treat other participants or volunteers with
professional courtesy, dignity and respect.
-
The participant or volunteer shall maintain and respect the confidentiality of
business or personal affairs of various programs and/or Culminis, members,
solution providers, sponsors and benefactors.
As a condition of granting the participant or volunteer approval in the program,
applicants shall abide by policies and procedures and shall comply with this
Professional Code of Ethics as they are now or may be in the future. Applicants
shall cooperate with investigations of practices, give evidence or testimony as
deemed necessary and accept discipline as determined.
I also hold harmless and indemnify and release Culminis, Culminis officers,
partners, directors, employees, agents or others acting on behalf of Culminis,
from any and all liability arising out of the acceptance or rejection of this
application and the suspension or termination of acceptance for any reason.
