The Culminis Compass - September  2004

Windows & .NET Magazine Title Change to Windows IT PRO Magazine
September 1, 2004
Kim Paulsen

Dear Windows IT Pro,

I wanted to let you know about some exciting and important changes at Windows & .NET Magazine. Effective with our September issue, we will relaunch as Windows IT Pro.

Why the relaunch you ask?

First of all, I want to stress that the same how-to, technical content that you’ve relied on for years will continue. The same leading experts in the industry will continue to contribute cutting-edge and highly technical articles. The Web site will retain its structure and familiarity.

The purpose of this relaunch, which involved countless hours of debating, research and discussion at the magazine, is to provide a more personal side to our content. We focus on what IT pros need to know to be successful in their job. With the relaunch, we have redesigned the print magazine so that you will notice more enticing "entry points" and sidebars to make it easier to evaluate the topics of the technical content. We hope the design will make the magazine easier to read, and more fun to read. We also focus on content to help IT pros sell technology solutions within their business and better position themselves as leaders within their company. In short, we want to make IT pros, you, the hero of your company!

As a subscriber, you can expect the following from Windows IT Pro:
+ Get more done in less time
+ Sell yourself to management
+ Find the hot products you need now
+ Get control over the toughest IT issues
+ Take charge of your career
+ Save your company money
+ Instant access to a community of IT Pros

If you’re not a subscriber to the magazine, now is the opportunity! We have a special relaunch offer of 52% off the newsstand price. Click here to reserve your subscription.

Thank you for your participation in the community!

Sincerely,

Kim Paulsen
